Saturn in Pisces 2023

Saturn in Pisces 2023

Saturn will transit Pisces starting in March 2023 until 2026.  This transit takes place every 27 to 29 years.  So those that will be 27 through 29 during 2023 to 2026 will feel this energy more strongly because it is essentially your Saturn return.

This age range is typically a pivotal shift in life that leads you into your 30’s.  You transition from a life of partying and having fun to focusing more on your career and family.  This return will happen again around the ages of 56 to 60 years old which is another period of transition.

Even if this isn’t your return, you are still going to experience this energy especially on a collective level.  In this post I will share my intuitive reading of this transit and share major events that have happened in the past when Saturn transits Pisces.

What does Saturn represent in astrology?

Saturn is considered to be the king among gods.  In ancient mythology Saturn was symbolized as the father setting rules and limitations.  It represents reality and the cold hard facts that are learned by facing the lessons we learn.

Saturn also represents where karma is met and realized.  When Saturn transits zodiac signs it closes one karmic cycle and begins another one.  These cycles contain personalized lessons that we all need to learn in order to evolve to our highest good.

Saturn typically leaves a gift behind when closing a cycle.

What does Pisces represent in astrology?

Funny enough, Pisces is the dreamer of the Zodiac and Saturn is the planet that snaps us back to reality.  So you can easily recognize some friction when Saturn is stationed in Pisces.  It is similar to the push/pull feeling we experience when Mercury goes retrograde.  This lesson here is to learn what is feasible and what isn’t.

Pisces can also be considered hypocritical or dual nature.  The Zodiac sign is literally two fish jumping in different directions.  According to Carl Jung, Pisces is represented by the energies of the Christ and Anti-Christ.

In fact, it is thought that Chrisitianity had its magical conception when Jesus was born in the astrological age of Pisces.  Some believe that we are still in the astrological age of Pisces and transitioning into the age of Aquarius.

The Collective Energy of Saturn in Pisces

For the next two and a half years the energies are perfect to bring your innovative ideas to life.  During the past Saturn in Pisces transits humanity has witnessed some of the most revolutionary ideas take form.  Massive shifts in technology and arts can come about.

Unfortunately, humanity may also experience some turbulence during this time especially with Pluto transiting Aquarius towards the end of March 2023.  During Saturn’s visit to Pisces in the 1930’s innocent lives fell victims to extremist ideas such as fascism and authoritarianism.  At the time of this writing the globe is teetering on the brink of another world war inspired by those same ideas but now we have technology and censorship in the mix.

However, we shouldn’t give credence to this shadow energy of Saturn in Pisces.  Instead we should focus on helping to raise the collective consciousness to a higher level of evolution.  When Saturn was in Pisces in the 1930’s humanity also experienced massive transformations of freedom and equality.  Industrialism began to invent technology that would provide easier ways of producing goods and sharing information.

Saturn’s ultimate goal is for us to live without motivations or desires for possessions and boundaries.  Instead, the father teaches us our individuality and its role in society.  It nudges us to return back to the peaceful and joyful times of the Golden Age.

When Saturn transits the different signs there is always a major shift in reality.  During the transit into Pisces we could see a much wider collective awakening and spiritual revival.  Much of the West has lost touch with the spirituality of nature and focuses more on external rewards.  Saturn in Pisces prompts us to look within first.

Over the next two and a half years we will see a much more collective focus on community and freedom of expression.  A lot of us may become susceptible to escapism and abusive drug behavior.  We must accept and embrace our reality and stand for the higher good by having faith in the universal plan.

Be sure to make self care an extremely high priority during this transit.  Practice self love and return to your center often through meditation.  Dedicate time to ground your energies frequently as the dreamy energy of Pisces can easily carry us away.  If we don’t make self care a priority Saturn will be really quick to lend a helping hand.

I believe the lesson for us to learn during this time is to find the perfect equilibrium between love and freedom.  True love can’t be restrained, but if we are not careful love can carry us away to cloud nine and lose touch with reality.

Love will also respect and value each other’s individual freedom especially regarding natural rights.  Freedom in turn produces more love and harmony among the collective.  What we put into reality is what will return to us.  It is the law of Karma.

Don’t be overly generous at the sacrifice of your own well being.  There is a deep energy of charitability with this transit.  Give your energy only to the things that reciprocate energy back to you.  If something drains you of your energy, then you must learn to establish boundaries or just banish it altogether.

It’s a great time to materialize your creative ideas by setting plans and working with the flow.  If you feel like you keep running into roadblocks then it is a sign that you need to redirect your energies to something that is more fruitful.

Altogether this is my intuitive reading of Saturn in Pisces for 2023.  This is more of a general collective reading.  Feel free to contact me if you would like to have a more personal understanding of Saturn’s transit in Pisces for 2023.
